Since 2024
Wellbeing & Psychosocial Care
Free yoga, meditation and Himalayan sound sessions, given at the institution’s invitation and at no cost.
The need
Why this work
After a flood, a bereavement or simply a hard year, the part of recovery nobody funds is the quiet hour. Children who have watched a river take their classroom carry it afterwards.
We bring the practice to the room, not the room to the practice.
What we do
How it is done
Free yoga, meditation and Himalayan sound sessions for school students, children’s homes, elderly homes, and the Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Traffic Police. Delivered by trained practitioners from our team, at no cost, at the institution’s invitation.
Offered for calm, rest and wellbeing. Not treatment, not a cure, not medicine, and never a substitute for medical or psychological care.
Alongside, never instead. Where a home or a centre has its own carers and therapists, our practitioners work alongside them and under their guidance. They know the people in their care. We do not, and we do not pretend to.
Where the service goes
Four settings, one practice
बाल आश्रम — Children’s Homes
A quiet hour of movement, breath and sound in a place where the days can be loud. Shaped around the children, run alongside their own carers.
वृद्धाश्रम — Elderly Homes
Gentle seated practice at whatever pace the room asks for. Nobody is asked to do anything they would rather not.
पुनर्स्थापना केन्द्र — Rehabilitation Centres
Offered for calm and rest, always alongside the centre’s own carers and therapists and under their guidance — never in place of them.
विद्यालय तथा समुदाय — Schools & Communities
Yoga and meditation for students and teachers, and open community sessions.
Given to the places that would never be asked to pay.
