What does New Vision Nepal do?
New Vision Nepal serves communities across Nepal — bringing clean water, health, relief and education where they are needed, and offering yoga, meditation and sound healing free of cost to those who need peace most.
Health and awareness
Eye-care camps, blood donation drives, anti-smoking awareness and cleanliness programmes.
Disaster relief
Reaching communities after floods and disaster, alongside local bodies already on the ground.
Education and livelihoods
Education, agriculture and livelihood programmes, run in coordination with government.
Environment
Tree plantation and environmental care, carried out with the communities who live with the land.
Sustainable tourism
Journeys into the high Himalaya that build networks among development activists.
Our approach
When we install a water system, we do not only build it.
A filtration plant is the easy half. The benefit only lasts if the habits around it change — so the teaching goes to the children themselves, and the responsibility stays with the community and its local bodies long after the work is done.

A system is installed at the school
Clean drinking water is there every day — not only on the day of the ceremony. The plant at Phatakshila Secondary School in Melamchi is one of these.
The children learn it
Safe water and hand-washing, taught through the children
Children learn how water-borne disease spreads and how hand-washing stops it — and they carry what they learn home to their families. Teaching through the beneficiaries themselves is what turns equipment into a habit.

Local stakeholders and government from the start
Beneficiaries, local stakeholders and government bodies are engaged from the beginning, so responsibility for the system does not leave when we do. Communities are partners in this, not recipients of it.

Why the teaching matters as much as the plant
Safe storage and hand-washing with soap are among the most effective things a household can do against water-borne illness — which is why the hygiene education is not an extra at the end of a water project, but the point of it.

What does New Vision Nepal do?
New Vision Nepal is a registered non-profit organisation in Kathmandu. It works in water, sanitation and hygiene, health, disaster relief, education, agriculture, livelihoods, environment and sustainable tourism — and it offers yoga, meditation and Himalayan sound healing free of cost to children's homes, elderly homes, rehabilitation centres, schools and Nepal's security forces.
Is the wellness service really free?
Yes. Yoga, meditation and Himalayan sound healing are given free of cost, always. The one exception is multi-day journeys and retreats, where guests make a contribution that covers real costs — transport, food and accommodation. That contribution is not profit, and the service itself is still given freely.

Any school, children's home, elderly home, rehabilitation centre, institution or community in Nepal may invite them. Write to info@newvisionnepal.org.np or send a message on WhatsApp to +977 9851136069 with where you are, what kind of place it is, roughly how many people, and a good time to come. There is no cost.
How is the free work paid for?
By donations and supporters. Because the wellness service is given without charge, the people who give are the reason it can continue.

Kathmandu-16, Sohrakhutte, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is a registered non-profit organisation affiliated to the Social Welfare Council, and it works with communities across the country.
